GC, I liked all your points except not sure why the Lovie bashing. Picking out one game is like picking out one game the offense struggles and saying the Martz was an overrated offensive coordinator. And sure it is always about talent, but just as you said the Rams were last in D before he got here. Did a make some personnel mistakes - sure he might have contributed to two, but in your statements earlier you even stated that mistakes happen. Now Lovie took a Bears team (btw the defense was better after he got there - to me that's the key does the team improve after a coach comes in - I don't care who plays), and made it a playoff team - something a ton of other coaches have not been able to do.
BTW, Right NOW I'd trade Linehan for Lovie no questions asked.
