I know we’re all into saying who’s who to blame for the loss, but that’s not how I’m going to look at it. Sure, our offensive line really was awful last game, but a few of the guys were also backup players. Incognito, I think looked pretty damn good this game at center. Center is a very tough position in football, and to make the transition like that and to have only (I think around 1 or 2 penalties) a couple of mistakes made, penalty wise, was awesome to see. Unfortunately, I can’t say the rest of the line was all that “awesome” last game. But, hey let’s look at it this way. The whole offense is obviously off. But say our line was doing alright, and only allowed, let’s say one sack. Would the offense be better because of that? I don’t think it would’ve made THAT big of a difference simply because of the fact that everyone is on the wrong page offensively. Bulger did not look like he knew where to throw to when he called hike, because the wide receivers themselves didn’t look like they knew where they were going. So, I don’t think our line is the only problem we have right now. So, can we really blame everything on the line? I say no.
Well Varg6, I'm going to submit a little debate on your point with the O-line.
You state that maybe lets say we only gave up one sack, would we have been any better on offense? You say no. Well I say hell yea. Give any team back 5 sacks & the outcome will be a whole lot better. Play options open, drives stay alive, time is eaten of the clock if needed. Any time we can secure the ball & keep the opposing teams offense off the field. We are doing a whole lot better.

Lets say on one of those sacks Holt was just seconds from being wide open downfield, Bulger has time, hits him in stride & boom 6 points on the board. Tie game. Lets say on another sack that we get back were at the niners 30 & its 3rd & 5, instead of being sacked the play goes for no gain we still have a shot at a field goal. Wilkens in & we have a legitmite shot at beating the niners.
So you see i do rest alot of the blame on the poor play by the O-line not all of it, but they had more than thier fair share of miscues.
