Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 3: Pride and the Lions
Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 3: Pride and the Lions
The routing of the Delphinis complete, the Legion of SpiralHorns once again leaves the homeland and prepares for conquest. Their sights set upon the den of lions in the great silver forum of the North, the Legions march forward.
The mood is of high spirit, and the foe trembles at the approach of the Legions, but amid the reveling, a voice spoke out. The voice of AvengerRam.
"Beware of pride and the lions. Do not forget that in the days of the Legions greatest triumph, it was the silver forum and the den of the lions where a grevious defeat was realized. Pride is to be taken in the actions of today and tomorrow. Pride based only on what has passed can be a trap."
And heeding the words of the AvengerRam, the Legions marched forward. And taking pride in their actions of the here and now, triumph was once again theirs. So it shall be.
Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 4: Giant Task
And so the Legions marched home, once again victorious. The talk throughout the land rang out and the question was repeatedly uttered: could anyone stop the Legions.
This talk had been heard before. In the days of great glory, the Legions were perceived as lacking a peer. But dark days followed.
And in those dark days, the Giants of the Northeast, clad in garb of the colors of the day and night sky, came forth and usurped the prize that was to be possessed by the Legions, only to fall themselves to an even darker force.
Now, with the glory lost returning once again, the Legions and the Giants shall meet. And AvengerRam spoke and said that it will be here, in the homeland, that the glory abandoned by the Legions and purloined by the Giants, shall be reclaimed. With speed, with passion and with certaintly, this task will be fulfilled.
And so it shall be.
