Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 9: The Northern Militia

Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 9: The Northern Militia

Defeats from the past now avenged, the Legions march forward to an unfamiliar land. In the extreme of North, a Militia awaits. Though regarded as limited, this Militia has battled and defeated many foes with a spirit that exceeds their power.

AvengerRam spoke of this upcoming test, and said: "Behold, a battle will both raise and answer questions of leadership. The Legions will see a leader who, though wounded in battle, can still answer the call of duty and advance the charge of SpiralHorns towards their destiny. The opposing Militia will question their faith in a leader of old, and find their answer in the fire of young. And the battle shall be great on a windswept field of the North. Indeed, this battle will be of a character not often seen in the trials of the Legions. But in the end, victory shall once again be ours, as our dominion grows."

With these words the Legions marched forth. And their battle with the Militia and its allies of wind and cold ended in triumph.

And so it shall be.
