Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 10: The Primal Pirate Battle

Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 10: The Primal Pirate Battle

Victorious once more, the Legions return home. The casualties, though, are numerous, raising questions and doubts. And though the minds of the Legions often diverge, a common query is raised: will the Legion's path to the destination of glory be blocked by the limitations of mortal men, or merely altered?
Whatever the answer will be, it will be revealed through continued struggle, as rest will not come for some time. So back to the homefront the Legions travel.

There, an old foe will await. For accross the waters of the gulf and Northward along the great river the Crimson clad Pirates travel to battle the Legions. And while their pride has not fully wained, the Pirates have tasted defeat in their travels. Thus, like the Legions, the Pirates face a question of self: have they been vanquished entirely, or does their spirit remain stong and capable of fostering triumph?

And to these questions, AvengerRam spoke: "Behold, under cover of night and with all eyes upon them, the Legions meet the challenge of a rival. Primal motives both; one of the wounded beast, one of the cornered. But in the end the Pirates will fall, ending a threat, a rivalry and the dreams of Crimson glory."

And so it shall be.
