Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 12: Return of the Scarlet Miners

Book of SpiralHorns, Chapter 12: Return of the Scarlet Miners

Another battle won, the Legions return to the homefront.

AvengerRam addressed the SpiralHorns, and said: "It was always destined to come to this. Many have been the foes of the Legions during the many ages in which we have toiled. Behemoths from the great city of the East and from the nearby lands of the South have tested us. Emerald Raptors, Horned Seamen, and Native Warriors have tasked us. Pirates from accross the waters and Paladins from the swamplands of the South have fought, and sometimes wounded, us. But over the many years, during ages Golden and dark, ages of promise and despair, the Scarlett Miners have always been there. They have been there to battle us, to block our path to glory and to pave it, to perputuate our despair and to launch us towards glory."

"And thus, today... today it is again the Scarlet Miners who stand in our path. Though their warriors of old have departed, new champions of the Baylands have arisen to challenge us. We have defeated them many times before, and must do so again. We are their nemises as well. We can match them blow for blow, and return two in kind. This shall be our day, and this day shall resonate into tomorrow."

And so the Legions returned to the homefront, met the challenge of the Scarlet clad Miners, and took a great step toward their ultimate goal of glory.

And so it shall be.
