JK, as for the greatest catch in rams history, i would rank it third. First was the Ike catch to win the superbowl. Second, tom fears catching the 73 yard bomb from van brocklin in the fourth quarter to come from behind and win the 51 championship. I concede that the rams wouldnt have been in sb 34 if not for Proehls catch, but i still rank it third. From a difficulty of the catch itself, it might be number one given the game situation (holts catch vs. seattle this year might be number one overall on pure difficulty). Kelly is right on proehl and the ball is half out of his hands. The throw by the way was perfect and its really the only great throw captain kurt made in that entire game as the bucs were in his face all game long.
