I got my first two goals in soccer today. First goals ever during game time. It is a big deal for me since I play defense and I am not comfortable on offense. We are playing indoor soccer right now and only 5 people are on the field, so I get to play a lot more offense than normal. Our best player was feeding everybody near the goal and everyone was scoring. We finished up 17-4...big time blowout.
I had a few shots on goal that the goalie was able to stop, and then I managed to get a pass about 15 feet in front of the goal. I launched it and it surprisingly headed up into the upper right hand corner of the goal, just like a professional shot. It was beautiful.
A few minutes later I got a second goal. This goal was a "right place, right time" goal. I was crowding the goal and someone tried to clear the ball. My left shin caught it straight on and it rebounded into the goal.
TWO GOALS 4 ME, TWO GOALS 4 me!!!!! Whooohooooo!!!!!
