And it's not exceptionally difficult to get 1,000 yards in a season, when you think about it. Sixteen games per season with 65 yards per game gives you over 1,000 yards.
Productive, perhaps in the sense that he didn't totally bomb. But I don't regret letting him go based on what he did in Pittsburgh.

Nick, between 1996 and 2001, Bettis averaged 87.5 yards per game, 1298 yards per season, and 14.8 games per season. But stats aside, I would think just getting nearly 15 games in a season from a RB is saying something these days.
