Why would Shaw walk away this year, leaving Georgias son as the new owner and not stay on until the dust cleared and a new direction was decided on ??
Georgia relyed on John, as will Chip, as he get's his feet wet in this business. Whether Chip decides to buy his sisters share for majority share, or sells to his sister, or chats with Kreonke to try and get controlling shares, Shaw must lead the transition, as Georgia would have or did wish. Shaw has been THE MAN, for the Rams for too long to wash his hands and leave the franchise in TOTAL disarray and or direction.
I'm thinking Shaw will stay on during this major transition and go about Rams business until he knows it's time to step away.

He knows he owes this to Georgia !!!
