Well, we signed him for $645,000. The salary cap counts the 50 highest paid members of your team, I believe. So, he either counts 0.645M on the cap, or he's free. His signing bonus was probably non-existent, so the penalty to boot him will be zero or close to zero.
As for
Dane Looker, he's still on the team, and probably hopes that Brown likes his holding style. I see him having a little bit more value than Caldwell if he isn't going to be the holder. Guy was awesome coming back from the leg injury though!
