Gholston COULD still be there at #10 as could the kid Harvey who is highly rated by many. The difference between Chris Long and Harvey and the significant dollar figure between the #2 and #10 spots plus the addition of even a second rounder this year, well I'd make the deal.

RebelYell,
If the Saints offered up #10, #40 and next year's 1st rounder - I would have to consider that if I'm the Rams......the Saints should bounce back and be pretty good next year so I would anticipate next year's 1st rounder would be aroun pick #20 (of course future year's picks are discounted by about 50%).
Draft Chart:
2008 Rams #2 = 2,600pts
2008 Saints #10 = 1,300pts
2008 Saints #40 = 500pts
2009 Saints #20 = 850 divided by 2 = 425
that would be 2,600 pts versus 2,225pts considering discounting the future 1st round pick. If you don't discount then its 2,600 versus 2,650 - dead even......
If Rams are not "in love" with Dorsey or Chris Long and they really, really like Derrick Harvey - yeah, I would do that deal in a new york minute. good luck.
