But, as you point out, that same brand of franchise loyalty just doesn't seem to be evident in today's NFL. Just like you, I wish it were different. However, in the case of Faulk, he is the world's leading expert in the RB position in Martz' offense. Maybe he just likes to contribute where he can, even if it is on Satan's favorite team.

You're right. Loyalty in this day and age is a non-existent commodity. Loyalty doesn't exist whether it is in the business world or the professional sports world (probably the same things). As a result, players go to the highest bidder and FO folks ask "what have you done for me lately?" Neither attitude engenders loyalty.
