Of course they don't have much if any credibility on this issue. They're only trying to protect themselves. Why would the Patriots reveal anything at all? It's much smarter to deny everything and see what people discover on their own and then admit to just that - you don't just give away ammunition to be used against you. It's pretty basic stuff. Give us a good reason that the Patriots would have a lot of credibility in this situation because I don't see it?

It's the Rams fault that the Patriots cheat if the Rams don't notice and catch them? So I guess it's also my fault if I get robbed and don't manage to stop the criminal myself? Let's get rid of the police force then...
I will agree with you that maybe some of this is being blown up a little when you look at the facts that we do have and there is always a tendency for conspiracy theorists to emerge in these situations. But it seems to me that one new fact has emerged from the interview: Walsh watched the Rams walk-through and reported back to the Patriots. It wasn't taped. So? Watching it, taking notes and reporting back is very similar to taping only slightly less effective (unless you're very thorough).
It's not unreasonable to discuss this as a new fact that may warrant further investigation and/or punishment.
