Give him his release, it serves no real value on keeping him there. Trading him gets you what? No one is going to give away draft picks for an aging QB who might retire at any minute. Then if you bring him back & he beats out Rodgers for the starting job, you have another mess with a team that will be divided on who should be th QB.
Not to mention how the salary cap gets affected if he comes back to the Packers, I believe he is under contract for 2 or 3 more years @ 39 mil. & looking @ that # tell me again how he will be the backup to Rodgers. He either starts or gets his release.
And in my opinion its just a matter of time when he gets his release.
