Re: Rams S.T. are #11 on the list!

Not at all a surprise to me. Everytime I've seen somebody dog our special teams on the board I've made a point to defend at least parts of the unit ...

We have several guys on this squad that can return kicks and punts. We can be very explosive in the return game, and I still think Dante has alot to offer. I cannot believe that people actually believe he will not be on the squad. One, he knows Al's system and he is still one of the top returners in the game. Yea, some might believe it doesn't make alot of sense to keep a guy on the team simply for his returning prowess, but think about all the games in this league that are decided by less than 7 points. If he returns two kicks for TD's this year, or gets us in FG position even one time to win a game late, that could mean the difference between sitting at home come January, or going to the playoffs. He is definitely a valuable contributor to the squad ....

As for our coverage units, go look at the stats. They were very effective the first half of the season. I'm not really sure where the breakdown came into effect. Maybe the lack of depth due to injuries starting taking a toll on the unit as a whole. Fact is, if our coverage units just into the middle of the pack, and our return unit performs like it did last year, this is easily a top 10 unit.
