I definitely see what you're saying. The thing with the Cowboys is, I put them so high because they're just so close to being Super Bowl favorites. They don't really have too much time to wait for Romo, IMO, because they aren't the youngest of teams. Guys like Owens, Glenn, pretty much their whole offensive line, Zach Thomas, and others aren't getting any younger. I think getting a guy like Owens could wake Romo up and get him to mature a little. I know this wouldn't happen, but I think the Cowboys should look into it. That team, including Wade Phillips, is facing so much pressure, whether it be from Jason Garret's presence (Wade Phillips, in particular), Jerry Jones, or the media. Again, I don't see the Packers or Cowboys doing it because the Packers aren't going to give the Cowboys the piece that they need to win a Super Bowl and the Cowboys probably don't want to make Romo second guess the organization's faith in him. As for TO, I don't think he'd mind getting Favre. I strongly believe that the "crying" was a Page Ranking build, just like Schilling's "bloody sock." Owens, when he was on the Eagles, did once say something along the lines of..."If we had a guy like Brett Favre at QB, we'd be undefeated" after a shaky start to his last season in Philly, I believe.

But I really think I think if Favre somehow does end up playing, it will be in Baltimore. They have had that championship defense for years now and even though they lost Ogden, they still have an all-rounded offense too. It's not like they're the Bears. And he would have McGahee who would take a heck of a lot of the pressure of Favre and considering his age that's not a bad thing by any stretch. That team has is deep and with a Top 5 QB becomes an instant Superbowl contender as far as I can see. Sure, they're in a packed division and conference, but there's no reason why they can't be better than the likes of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Tennessee, Houston etc. with Favre under center. It would be a great fit not only for Favre, but for the Packers too. He would be out of the NFC and wouldn't match up with any NFC North team for the entire season.

They won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer and won thirteen games with an aging Steve McNair. Yes, their offensive line is facing the loss of a future Hall of Famer in Jonathan Odgen, but imagine what this team could do with Brett Favre. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Brett went to the Ravens and they won the Super Bowl this year. I wouldn't put them in the same sentence as the Colts and Patriots just yet, but I think they'd instantly be contenders to win the AFC North.
