What the author of this site has failed to realize is why the Pats were allowed to as he states “Play outside the lines of decency”. For what it’s worth Patriot fans have also missed the reason. After reading the documentation and watching the movies associated with some of those movies then reading most of the comments both by Patriot and rams fans it makes it official that their fandom blocks out the light of the obvious to unmatched levels of complete stupidity. First I will address the person who published this anthology of alleged favoritism.

You may think you are some kind of Columbo or Sherlock Holmes however people who saw the game that were not distracted by their bias saw the favoritism towards the pats. The difference is they knew why it happened and they were glad that it happened. HOW GLAD? The arrogance of the Rams and especially the Rams coach is what dictated the "favoritism" and if it were not the pats collecting these freebies in that game it would have been some other AFC team. This may come as a shocking revelation to you but not everyone is a ram fan and those who were not had run out of barf bags listening to all the undeserved stroking. The league was sick of hearing about “The greatest Show on Earth.” People were tired of hearing about Kurt Warner and his rags to riches story; they were tired of hearing “Only the Rams can beat the Rams”. They were tired of all the ignorance associated with the fairy tale season the Rams had in 1999 and how the Rams were still the best team in the league in 2000 even know they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs. The free pass to the playoffs from playing in a joke of a division was never mentioned in all the hype associated with those “Greatest Show” teams the Rams put on the field. So to sum it up, your right as far as what the movies show however you bias fandomship and lack of knowledge of the NFL inter circle has left you with some pretty hilarious observations of why the pats were afforded the lead way to punish your precious players. Oh and by the way, you should be glad that the ref didn’t call that intentional grounding on the last drive because that would have meant your offense would have had to score points to win and that means they would have to go back onto the field and that means there would have been more of the cheap hits. I bet the players were glad they didn’t have to go back out there.

To Patriot fans: the one thing the author said that hit the nail on the head is in his opening remarks about Patriot fans translating your two current Superbowls to the past creating a fiction that the Patriots had a better team and subliminally want to weave that into your current dynasty as earned. You could have plugged the Cardinals into that game and come out on top but you just do not want to see it that way so you don’t bother acknowledging the contributions to your cause from the officials. You fans remind me of the spoiled kid that got what he wanted when he shouldn’t have and is not gracious enough to say thanks.. You pat fans that have watched those movies and stated that it doesn’t show illegal play and referee favoritism are making you and your peers look like the guilty person stating their innocence with the smoking gun in their hand. Its hilarious to watch you pat fans and you ram fans argues this game and none of you are able to see the obvious. The author has blocked out the arrogance of the rams and the part it played in this game and you pat fans block out the fact that you were treated special for this superbowl. You all need to take off your “goggles” because other fans think you’re all a bunch of nuts. Your response to this whole thing should be “Thank You” and sorry about your luck but eventually you pay for arrogance and in this case we were the collection agency.” That and that alone should be your response because if you try to debate some of these movies here you’re only looking as stupid and arrogant as this author.
