-Early favorite for defensive breakout star? How about defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy. The man they call Bear is beaming with confidence and it is carrying over to the field. Kennedy continued to be almost unblockable in the morning workout and is clearly in better shape than he has been at any point in his young NFL career. If he can take what he was doing at the end of last season and bring it to this team, he will be the dominant defensive force in the middle this team is looking for.

-Blaine Saipaia is doing more than just keeping Alex Barron’s spot warm for him until he arrives. Saipaia is as tough as they come and can really deliver a blow on first contact. He might make a heck of a guard someday, but in the meantime, he can be a solid right tackle.
