I wish these whining tree-huggers would just SHUT UP!
I am 1/4 Cherokee. I am part Irish. I am an adult, and I find NO offense in ANY team using the names of any native American tribes, nor in the use of "Fighting Irish". It makes me want to start up a southern college team called "The Rednecks". (Well, Texas A & M is really close to that already....).
Why don't these little limp-wristed whiners worry about what matters, like insuring equal opportunity for competition and fair play? Or financial inequities?
I hope the Black Panthers (do they still exist?) file suit against the NCAA for failing to represent them in this battle!
