Chargers | Team hires Ramsdell

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the San Diego Chargers have hired St. Louis Rams quarterbacks coach John Ramsdell as their new quarterbacks coach. Ramsdell replaces Brian Schottenheimer, who joined Eric Mangini's New York Jets staff as offensive coordinator. Ramsdell had been with the Rams for all 11 seasons that the franchise has been in St. Louis. In that time, he has coached quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends at various times.
Rams | Milus a serious candidate for the coaching staff

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports former New York Giants secondary coach Ron Milus visited with the St. Louis Rams this week. Milus is believed to be a strong candidate to assist new secondary coach Willy Robinson.
Rams | Boudreau a serious candidate for the coaching staff

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams head coach Scott Linehan appears to be close to filling a key position on his staff. Paul Boudreau, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has emerged as a leading candidate to become Linehan's offensive line coach.
