I'm far from a farm girl too, I'm originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. But actually, owning a goat does not take that much involvement. Fortunately, we live on an acre so Ralph is on a chain which gives him access to about 1/4 of the acre in the way back and he has a little wooden house for when it rains or to sleep. He knocked down his first one by butting it with his horns, I suppose it was a goat type temper tantrum, who knows. But overall maintenance for a goat isn't that much.
I honestly never thought that I would ever be giving goat advice, but if I can help in any way, I'm there!!!

Sheesh, it really is the off season for us, isn't it!!! lol
