I would say Pickett is good but he is not great. There are many other DL who are just as good IMO. Would Pickett have had as many tackles if anyone on the team other then him was playing tackle football? He had a lot of chances for tackles because no body else was tackling the guy with the ball. That said I would like to sign Pickett but I do not want to over pay for him. I think they did the right thing by not tagging him.

Side note: I would like to know how many plays from scrimmage we allowed per possession last year compared to the rest of the league I would bet that we rank near the bottom in most plays from scrimmage allowed per possession which leads to more chances for tackles.
