How does the ignore feature work?
And will it block posts by a Moderator? I wish to block all AvengerRam's posts and threads, but I am unsure if it will work on him since he is one of the mods.

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
I'll second the question, RamDez. There's no reason AvengerRam can't contain all of his non-football related witicisms and commentaries to his articles section but sense that won't happen, I'd also prefer not to see them.
I'm sure I am on many user's "ignore" and would appreciate the same choice.

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
see answer above. mods and admins can not be set to ignore. If one disagrees with members on this forum, do as I do and NOT READ that post, its easy.

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
That requires a degree of precognizance and makes me wonder: "who polices the police?"? If I put a member on ignore does that mean I can't receive PM's from them either?see answer above. mods and admins can not be set to ignore. If one disagrees with members on this forum, do as I do and NOT READ that post, its easy.
It seems like an easy deal to circumvent if it's just a limitation of the system. Moderators could have moderator ID's for the times that moderation is required and posting ID's the other 99% of the time so their thoughts and opinions aren't forced on those who choose not to read them.
Perhaps that's an over-simplification that isn't actually practical.

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
We need an Ignore button. It's just not right that this mod keeps standing over my shoulder with a gun to my head forcing me to read certain posts. It's not right I tell you!
Knock off all the b!t@hing! You're grown men. If you don't want to read something, don't read it."I'm not going to hide my opinions. They're coming to you between 7000-4000 Angstroms for all the world to see. Oh yes, you will be enlightened."

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
So, should I assume that you guys don't want to receive my monthly newsletter from this point forward?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: How does the ignore feature work?
I did not know that we had an ignore function. That could make reading threads difficult if you don't get all the posts.
Does anyone use this feature?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
