Whats Rep Power

Hey everyone I was wondering what those green squares are and what is rep power?

Rep power is like those little stickers that college football players put on their helmets....its recognition from another RamClan member that a post you made was spectacular in his/her opinion (although it can be negative as well). You can give rep to someone by clicking what looks like the scales of justice in the upper right corner of that person's post.

I don't know what the green squares mean (other than what they say when you put the cursor over it), or how you get them.

RamWraith Rep Power = 9 ... Has 1 green box

HMMMMM....interesting RamWraith. I've also had a couple of people tell me that they added to my rep after I was already at a 2, but I'm still at 2. Not that I sweat this type of thing really. I know RamDez was having trouble with the site for a little while (editing, deleting, transfers with links within website, daylight savings time issue, etc). All of that seemed to get fixed.

greenies have their own arbitrary math equation....how it works, Einstein wouldn't even know. It's easier to calculate the speed of dark than it is to get a greenie.

I'm not completely sure, but here's my "grainy Bigfoot film" theory of how it works:

When someone gives you a rep point (scales of justice in the upper right of your post), your total "points" goes up by however many "rep power" points the giver has. For example, if AV gives you props, you get 9 "points". As your "points" increase to certain higher amounts, both your "rep power" and green thingies increase.

However, your rep power can also go up as you pass certain post totals, and Dez can add to your rep power as well.

So, in short, the "scales of justice" increase your green thingies. The "scales of justice" + your total posts + Dez's magic button increases your "rep power".
