ClanRam 2011 NFL Power Rankings: Week 6
By Nick
10/19/11
Another week, another installment of the Power Rankings. Where will the Rams land? Let’s find out!
WEEK SIX POWER RANKINGS
1. Green Bay Packers (6-0; Last Week: 1)
-Aaron Rodgers and the Pack made the Rams look silly defensively in the first half of their win.
2. New England Patriots (5-1; Last Week: 4)
-A close win by the Pats have them back in the #2 spot.
3. New Orleans Saints (4-2; Last Week: 2)
-The Saints lost a close game to division rival Buccaneers, but I still think they’re one of the best in the league.
4. Baltimore Ravens (4-1; Last Week: 5)
-The Ravens defeated the Johnson-less Texans in a game that was close until the fourth quarter.
5. Detroit Lions (5-1; Last Week: 3)
-The Lions fell this week as well, but only lost the lead in the final two minutes of a close game.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2; Last Week: 7)
-Pittsburgh and Jacksonville was closer than it should be, but a win is a win.
7. Atlanta Falcons (3-3; Last Week: 8)
-Impressive showing against the division rival Panthers this week.
8. Houston Texans (3-3; Last Week: 6)
-Slight dip for the Texans after a close loss to Baltimore.
9. San Diego Chargers (4-1; Last Week: 9)
-San Diego manages to stay put in the rankings while on a bye.
10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2; Last Week: 13)
-Tampa is up three spots after besting the Saints this week.
11. San Francisco ***** (5-1; Last Week: 14)
-The ***** continue to rise up the charts after giving the Lions their first loss of the year.
12. Oakland Raiders (4-2; Last Week: 15)
-Oakland won against Cleveland, but most would say they lost in the Carson Palmer trade.
13. Buffalo Bills (4-2; Last Week: 10)
-Buffalo drops a close one to the Giants and drops three spots in the process.
14. New York Giants (4-2; Last Week: 17)
-Meanwhile, the Giants’ win allows them to creep up three spots.
15. New York Jets (3-3; Last Week: 11)
-The Jets won, but looked awful doing so. This may be the first team that falls in the rankings despite their victory.
16. Dallas Cowboys (2-3; Last Week: 12)
-Dallas probably drops more spots than they deserve for playing the Patriots close.
17. Tennessee Titans (3-2; Last Week: 16)
-A bye week for Tennessee.
18. Cincinnati Bengals (4-2; Last Week: 19)
-A win over the hapless Colts isn’t going to cause you to skyrocket up the charts, but it is impressive that the Bengals are 4-2.
19. Chicago Bears (3-3; Last Week: 20)
-Big beatdown of Minnesota this week.
20. Philadelphia Eagles (2-4; Last Week: 23)
-Is the Dream Team back on track? Rex Grossman kind of handed them this game.
21. Washington Redskins (3-2; Last Week: 18)
-Can John Beck get the Redskins back up the chart? Don’t hold your breath.
22. Seattle Seahawks (2-3; Last Week: 22)
-A Seattle bye keeps them at 22.
23. Carolina Panthers (1-5; Last Wee0: 21)
-Carolina didn’t really put up much of a fight against Atlanta.
24. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3; Last Week: 24)
-Bye week for the Chiefs.
25. Cleveland Browns (2-3; Last Week: 25)
-The Browns played Oakland close but couldn’t pull it off.
26. Minnesota Vikings (1-5; Last Week: 26)
-The Christian Ponder era has begun.
27. Arizona Cardinals (1-4; Last Week: 27)
-Bye week for the Cardinals.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5; Last Week: 29)
-The Jags played Pittsburgh close, and get rewarded by moving up despite the loss.
29. Denver Broncos (1-4; Last Week: 28)
-Denver had a bye, but the switch to Tebow made me drop them a spot (not really, it just worked out that way).
30. Miami Dolphins (0-5; Last Week: 30)
-Miami continues to look awful and could be big players in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
31. Indianapolis Colts (0-6; Last Week: 32)
-The Colts lost again, but Curtis Painter wasn’t completely awful in the process. Could he pull off a win soon?
32. St. Louis Rams (0-5; Last Week: 31)
-The Rams can’t keep up with opposing offenses. Will Brandon Lloyd help? We’re about to find out.

Man would I love to have the first pick in the draft this year....We could easily trade that pick and go deep into the playoffs next year. Just with the amount of talent we could acquire through the draft. Yet at the same time I don't want to suffer for 11 more weeks.
I ultimately hope we go 11-5. Pairing Blackmon or Jeffery with Lloyd will be deadly.

Re: ClanRam 2011 NFL Power Rankings: Week 6
Like I worked through you and you typed what I been thinking! I dont know if I can take 11 more butt whoopins without me getting pissed off and drving to st. Louis and stomping a mud hole in the FO and coaching staff!
Anyways we would be able to aquire so much talent you know someone is for sure going to want Luck and Mel Kiper swears it's John Elway's second coming!!Dude we come out with KirkPatrick, one of the big 3 WR's, and a couple more defensive players we'd be set!! Move over Ninny's here comes the Rams dynasty ...

Re: ClanRam 2011 NFL Power Rankings: Week 6
I'd still rather go 11-5 than have the #1 pick. I just think one more solid offseason and were set. Just some little things to work out and we should be ready to seriously fight for the division title.
Bradford to Lloyd will be a deadly combo, at least until its Bradford to Jeffery.
