Re: Av's Preseason Picks
I like how you see us making significant improvement coming from 1-15, and Browns miss 2 games (4-10)?

Re: Av's Preseason Picks
I'm not sure what to make of this season. I just don't see any particularly strong teams. So here's my take. I'm not sure if the number of total wins will equal the total number of losses. It won't be exact and I'm pretty sure there will be more losses than wins. With the exception of the AFC East, we see pretty close to eye to eye. The NFC is another story. Not surprisingly, we don't agree on the West, but my South is quite a bit different from yours. That division is wide open every year and with the Saints being inconsistent from year to year, I couldn't hand it to them again. I had a hard time picking the Wild Card teams for the NFC, which affects the seeding and the matchups. I just guessed. For the AFC Championship, I had a hard time picking against the Colts, but having back-to-back deep playoff runs is such a challenge, I just see the Colts wearing out at the end.

Green Bay vs. Baltimore
I wanted to give it to GB, but I just can't pick against that Baltimore D.
I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Re: Av's Preseason Picks
Chicago has made some big moves and I am surprised you both don’t have them higher. Green Bay stunk in the playoffs and that will continue this year. Vikings have lost Bret Farve and I don’t think will return unless the new guy we saw Saturday pans out for them, still a solid team. Saints will still be ridding the high from the Superbowl, but we have seen how Superbowl winners pan out the next year. The Colts have been good since Manning got on his feet, I expect that to continue. My predictions are not too off, but I do have the Rams with a winning season, which is bold, but I think they will make it. In the super bowl I have Chicago going up against the colts again. I think Lovie Smith and Mike Martz will have this team poised and winning week after week. Jay Cutler is about to explode with Olson, Aromashodu, Hester and Knox. Julius Peppers will be the key sets this defense back the way it was for the last Superbowl run.
