0-2. Big Deal.
I know I will catch a lot of flak about this post. But, you need to look at this loss with a touch of reality.
Our D did do a decent job.
Our O did a decent job.
Bruce looked Great.
Wade looked Great.
We still lost. As many injuries as we have, and the two suspensions, I think we looked good.
We still lost.
It's only a game, people. The Rams will recover.

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
I agree with RFS. Considering all the crap we have gone through, the injuries, loss of HILL, and Pace, patchwork offense, the fumbles, we still have a shot and it's a long season.

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
i disagree. I agree with the concept that we played a gutsy game very shorthanded. However, 4 of our next 5 are on the road and many of our injuries are critical guys who arent coming back so fast. If by "recover" you mean that we still have a shot to go 8-8, i dont necessarily disagree. However, anyone who thinks we have a shot at 10-6 at this point with this team under these circumstances is spending too much time with the hookah pipe, and believe me, i would like nothing better than to be wrong.
Bottom line is that its one week at a time. Playing pretty well doesnt count for much in the nfl, its about wins and losses. We have to find a way to get it done vs tampa if we want a shot at saving the season. moving the ball wont mean squat if we cant convert in the red zone and the turnovers are just murdering us.

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
I understand that all things considered, the team looked good for everything that happened. The thing is, that with this loss, so goes our season. We needed to win this to have any kind of momentum going forward to help us get into a groove and get to the playoffs. That and I hate the whiners.

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
Take a look at the schedule. Our getting into the playoffs required a fast start.

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
Not from me!
I’m not giving up yet.
Here is why, we could easily be 2-0 where not.
Whinner should be 0-2 but there not.
The Whinners will come back to the pack and we will get the offense rolling sooner or later. The D last week played well until it got tried this week it did not get tried just played well all game. We gave this game away, the D will continues to play well, lets hope the hags lose today they are losing 0-3 now!

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
It's a HUGE deal. We kicked the crap out of ther Whiners and still found a way to lose. Our team is cursed I tell ya, CURSED!! Holt, Bulger and Hall fumbled the game away...such a sad, sad day. :\

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
Guys, the fact that we "should" be this or "should" be that doesn't really matter because we're NOT what we want to be, and the whiners AREN'T what they should be. What can we do? Nothing. We're 0-2, and they're 2-0 and if we even want to get a chance at wildcard we really need to step up every aspect of the game. So far, unfortunately we aren't.

Always and Forever a fan of the St. Louis Rams

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
The Rams have struggled on the Road in recent years and 4 of the next 5 are on the road. Sorry guys but the Rams need a huge upturn in performance to get near the play-offs and I don't see it happening. Going to Tampa who easily beat the Saints today is a difficult game and another loss there is the final nail in the coffin. Then there is games @ Dallas, Cincinatti and Baltimore coming up..:\

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
hi
just new to the forum from scotland. i am a massive rams fan and i think it is the play calling that is killing our chances. with bulger so hot on the pass why did lineham elect to go for a 56 yard field goal instead of a quick pass out of bounds for a first down ,or even any quick pass for a 1st down then spike the ball to gine jeff half a chance to win the game. iam gutted he needs to go he is holding this team back.

The D got a three and out on the Marc fumble. Holt and Hall cost us.Holt, Bulger and Hall fumbled the game away
It does matter its a long season. The D is playing well, Are we really going to keep turning the ball over in the red zone week in and week out, I think not.Guys, the fact that we "should" be this or "should" be that doesn't really matter because
By the why Hags are now down 10-0!!

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
When I said we would recover, I did not say we'd win the Super Bowl.
Yeah, it will be a long season.
But, seriously, with all the things we are dealing with as a team, the injuries, etc., repeating an 8-8 season is realistic. A 9-7 would show that we can overcome a LOT of adversity.
I'm trying to look at the bright side here. I do know one thing:
We did play our game well, and Frank Gore will be a little more at ease in his life right now. Yes, he is an opponent, but I do know how hard it is to lose a mother. I do respect his performance today with all he has on his mind.
Linehan, on the other hand, should be bald by next week from pulling his hair out.Super Bowl Champions 2013!

Re: 0-2. Big Deal.
I never said anything about playoffs....all I'm saying is that the season is still very long. Guys anything can happen , Look no further than: THE RAMS. Yes we need to start winning. We have a chance against the bucs. Many of you are thinking 0-3. I'm not, we can still make it a season.
