    #1 priority this offseason

Some good offensive linemen that can run and pass block. If Bulger and Jackson could get the protection Warner had today, we'd be in the playoffs looking like studs too. Our skill players are just as good as the Cards with the exception of Fitzgerald and i have to admit that watching what the Cards did to the Panthers kinda made me jealous. Alot of the routes Fitzgerald ran today took time to develope but Warner never looked like he was in a hurry. Bulger doent have that luxury, and its time we do something about it.

atleast 20 of the Desert Turds points were after turnovers..our D would need an upgrade if we want the same results.

plus our current wideouts tho have potential just arent in the same class as the D.T.`s. at this point in time,im sorry but thats fact.

Yea, our rookies don't have that talent now, but I think we can all agree that they will develop that stuff over time and with good coaching and experience.
I think we will have an opportunity to upgrade our defense with the draft this off-season. There are a lot of talented defensive players. If we somehow don't, the FA is always available.

Good post Guam. Agree with everything you said.

A good free agent to go after would be Jordan Gross of the Panthers. He can play LT,RT,or RG and apparantly is good enough to have been franchised by the Panthers last year.
The thought is this year he won't be franchised because Julius Peppers is also a FA and they will franchise him this year instead.
He could fiil any void we may have on the line next year.Pace??Barron???Incognito???

Games are won or done in the TRENCHES, build an offensive line and defensive line right now, for a successful future!!!

We need not only talent on the offensive and defensive lines, but leaders, especially on the defense. You notice about the Ravens and Cardinals yesterday...they don't have an all star defense, but the have a couple of hard hitting leaders that get the rest of them to hit and play hard every down. That's what the Giant's defense did in the Super Bowl last year. They played inspired defense. Offensive line on the other hand takes pure talent and chemistry. That has to be built through careful selection in the draft and free agency.

First off we do need the offensive line fixed.

Then get a defense who can get us the ball back

Finishing off with a wide receiver of Fitz's caliber. Which we don't have.

A single OT will not fix our problem. We have to address the run D. If not with the second pick some meaningful personell move with FA. We got gash all year long on the gound thats got to be fix. The Cards run D shut down Carolina run O you must be able to do some of that.

    Re: #1 priority this offseason

Aggreed first priority this off season regardless who is HC is the O-line; its harder to build a offensive line that can function as single unit, and why I posted earlier to draft YOUNG and find a seasoned Vetran for leadership.

Most of the defensive woes is what others here have pointed out--LACK of leadership. Its easier to play defense requiring dicipline and attitude interms of schemes, but difficult int that its muscle and bone verses O-lineman who tend to be bigger then you--or very tiring to play 4 quarters all out
