Re: 10 Quick Thoughts On The Game

    some thoughts..

Apparently our offense worked hard on our Red-Zone play during the offseason? (so much so that we forgot to work on any plays when you are on your own 8 yard line, or to start off the game! LOL)

I think Jo Lon Dunbar, even though he may not have stood out, has some impact on this defense. We're just better when he's in there.

    Pass coverage:
Should we keep Finnegan out of the line-up? Or move him to safety eventually?
Apparently TJ McDonald was not ready for the NFL just yet. We've improved vastly in coverage since his departure and having more experience at safety.

We are likely getting a top 10 pick from the Redskins (or Washington Americans or whatever their new name may end up being)

Would have been sweet if Tennessee could have handled business vs. Seattle, we would have been 1 game out of first place in our division, but of course it's never easy.

    Go Rams!

He definitely helps set the tone and attitude for our defense. I think he broke the huddle to start the game too, so he brings leadership too. Our team has shown that confidence goes a long way to our success, since we can seemingly "turn it on" at any given time with the right attitude. We just seem to play better in all areas.

No question that Dunbar has made a difference. He is 10x better than Witherspoon

Great win as everyone has already said. My congrats to the players like Stacy, Bradford, Ogletree, the o-line and the d-line for leading the charge. I knew we had a game like this in us and hope we can maintain this intensity for the next 10 games. I had read elsewhere that Jeff Fisher has a 8-4, now 9-4 record coaching against Kubiak. That should have been a telltale sign.

I like that we are spreading the ball around so defenses will have to respect all our offensive players, not just a few players. Best of all we are developing the running game.

    Go Rams!

If I was Snyder, and I was under serious pressure to rename my team, I would only relent if those putting on the pressure agreed to pay for all the necessary changes. Once that was agreed upon, the new name would be either the swindlers or the buttheads, as that is who is running DC.

Washington Shutdowners? That way they could make it a marketing stunt that their offence and defense haven't shown up for games this season

A spokesman for the Washington Redskins has announced that after much deliberation and thought, the team has reached a decision on a new name.

The team will drop the word "Washington" from their name because it is offensive and embarrassing.

The Redskins apologize for any issues this may have caused.
