With the 112th pick of the 2011 Draft, the Rams take Greg Salas, WR, Hawaii

The fact that people are complaining about picking up these wide outs and kendricks is beyond me...
IMO, besides winning ofcourse, the single most important thing these season is Bradfords progression. Adding to solid handed wide outs is fine with me. Bradford proved hes the real deal so we need to give him more targets. Sure we have other spots to address but the coaches obvi see these guys as more valuable.
BTW Gildyard Gibson and Robinson will all be cut so these picks don't seem to bad to me.
Either way I'm going to let our coaches, who have us going on the right track, do their jobs.

I can't wait to see the Bradford-Mcdaniels offensse complented by the Laurinitis-Spags D its gona be somethin to look forward to!

After Quin he is probably my favorite pick. Mark my words this kid will be a legit WR in this league hes got good hands runs good routes, gos up in traffic, tough as nails, willing to block. He will find ways to separate and McDaniels will put him in good positions to exceed.

In this video he makes some amazing catches, shows great vision and toughness after the catch, some nice separation, and also lays down some bone jarring blocks.

Thanks for the video! What I got from that, was while he's not going to flat out outrun defenders like he did in college, he made a lot of acrobatic catches and catches where he was blanketed by coverage, and I imagine he'll continue to do that in the pros.

Those plays show some excellent hustle by Salas. Maybe he does make the Rams team - and then some!

He looks like Gibson when he plays....except with MUCH better hands & ball/field awareness.Love those catches in traffic. You can blame the caliber of D for the crazy zigzagging big YAC but plucking the ball like that as he repeatedly does even with guys all over him is impressive at any level.

Btw, who's the man mountain on the right in the team pic at the end of the video ? Can he come,too ?

Love this pick. I believe he will be our best WR in a few years time. Love his effort to gain yards after the catch, always seems to have good momentum after first contact. Great hands and as tough as nails. The Rams made a good choice in the 4th round and got a player who should contribute almost immediately. Robinson, Gilyard and Gibson better bring their A-games this season. The heat is on for all these players. I have the highest hopes for Gibson, although he must start to produce more, instead of just flashing talent.?
