Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars put up 224 yards on the ground against Pittsburgh. In the Steelers' loss to the Jets, New York gained 151. It would seem to me trying to establish the run with your stud back would have been one of the main goals coming into this game. Instead, Jackson gets five carries in the first half and seven in the second. Seems very questionable, IMO.

Jackson was also running VERY hard last night, and is looking like he did last year, all those jukes and shakes inside the hole that are hard to see from a normal TV angle. When you see him from the endzone, he is really impressive to watch.

Not really. My position has never been that Linehan has proved himself to be a great coach, but rather that I simply don't think you can fire him for not doing better under the circumstances of this season. I saw enough in 2006 to think there's potential for success with his as the coach, but that being said, there are definitely areas that need to be improved upon between now and next season if he wants a long-term future here.
