Just saw the announcement. A very well-deserved honor for both! Faulk is just the first of several Rams from the Greatest Show on Turf who will get in the Hall of Fame one day.

I was also pulling for Bettis to get in, but he will get his invite soon enough I'm sure.

Marshall is one of my favorite Rams of all time...i grew up as a young Rams fan watching him...congrats to Faulk!

Not a stupid question, as Marshall had great stats with the Colts and began his career there. But he goes in as a Ram for the impact he had during his tenure there, for the 1000 yard rushing and receiving season he had in the same year, and for the SuperBowl Championship.

Congrats to Faulk on this outstanding achievement. And I'm real happy Les Richter got in and was not overlooked. I might think about heading to Canton to see the induction.

Marshall Faulk is a Ram and will go in as a Ram. Or rather, he should. Best Ram trade, Marshall to Rams, worst Ram trade, Dickerson to Colts.

Very glad for / about Faulk and Richter, two more Rams in the HOF.

As NJ Ramsfan1 pointed out though...

...I don't know why Richter's career wasn't appreciated a lot earlier. It certainly seems like he was one of the best players of his generation and was highly coveted- as evidenced by the eleven guys the Rams traded to get him. It's a shame the guy died before he was given his ultimate due.

Better late than never! I too regret the man did not see his merits transformed into a bronze bust inside the Canton Hall. AlphaRam underscored this as well.

NJ does make an interesting point in the other thread about players not enshrined after a couple of decades. But again, I'm just elated Les Richter is in!
