I'm not sure why most people are assuming we need a receiver? This is a different type of team now. I have a feeling Spags will try to develop burton and avery more. Receivers tend to mature in their second or third year. I saw alot of potential in Avery, and a pretty fair amount in Burton. Why not promote from within? When it comes to having the second pick in the draft, it almost feels toxic. The microscope those players have to play under is a little overwhelming. Some rise, some don't. I would feel more comfortable in the middle 12-18 spot somewhere. Not that we've had luck there either, but that would mean we won more games last year!
