It'll be kinda odd not having the Aints or the Dirty Birds on the schedule and having Arizona and the Seahawks for divisional rivals.
Oh well . . . RAM ON!

your welcome, the search gave me something to do instead of studying:nerd:
thoey: Look for the Rams in Big D in 2006 with the way the schedule rotates - unless of course the 'girls win there division (hahahahahahahaha) and we see them sooner....DJRamFan

DJ,
I hate to admit this, but the Pokes aren't that far away. They are going to make some noise this year watch. They will be the worst to first team in the NFC.

tx,
they'll be better, but they won't win the division. The Eagles are on the way up, they're just missing a couple of pieces. The Redskins continue to overhaul, but with lewis and spurrier i got them penciled in as #2 in the division - the postseason will depend on the QB. The Jints are on the way down and will begin they're rebuilding.
The 'boys could be in first by '06 but not in '02. They need to start making some quality picks in the draft. At best the 'boys get the 3rd spot in the division, at worst the 4th spot.DJRamFan

Hey Limey
I love my Claymores but if the Rams played them I'd be embarrased. sure we would get to see the Rams play over here as they did back in 1989(?) but sh*t even the best players on the Claymores roster would barely make it onto the Rams team. Having said that I'm looking forward to at least 10 weeks live football with 5 home games no more than 45 miles from my door AND TWO count them TWO Rams allocates at the Claymores

With this schedule I get to see 3 away games! I live in LA and couldn't be happier that the realignment. It'll almost be like the old days when they were right around the corner. Don't get me wrong, the Rams deserve St. Louis - Good fans, good sports town. LA doesn't make for good football fans.
I have to say I'm a little worried about the tough schedule next year. Whiners coming up. Redskins re-thinking. Raiders getting sick of blowing it. Denver trying to prove that they are watchable.
It'll be a tough season.

Whiners News Flash!
The Whiners have given the Atlanta Falcons permission to talk to Steve Mariucci. Have they had enough of him? Has T.O. won the locker room battle? How does that relate to this thread? Well I'll tell ya, the Whiners may not be so tough next year if they are in a coaching transition. Right? Thus the Rams schedule is not so tough afterall.
But.........if you want to be the best, you gotta beat the rest!

correction: the bucs are talking to mooch, not the falcons, the dirty birds are happy with reeves
It will be interesting to see if he takes the job. Usually in those cases the player does win that battle. The bucs could really improve with him as their coach, but it would definitely not help the whiners, especially this late in the offseason.DJRamFan

Next year's schedule will definitely be a proving ground, but I'm looking forward to it.
I have mixed feelings about the Seahawks being in our division now, as I've followed them as a second team since they came onto the scene in the 70s, so it will be kinda weird going against them.
BUT..
First and foremost a Rams fan. 'Nuff said.
I just hate to have to wait until August for the (pre-) season to get underway. I want to get this bad taste from Toilet Bowl XXXVI out of my mouth as quickly as possible. To make matters worse, my wife made me get rid of my SB XXXVI commemorative one- legged stool (it had four legs before the game started). She said it reminded her of a "scary" experience (I was a tad p.o.'d after the game), but for me it was quite cathartic to beat the crap out of some furniture. Unfortunately, not quite cathartic enough...
