2005 Rams Records
Ok, some of you are thinking "Records? What Records?"
1. Bruce caught his 800th pass...only the 14th player to do this.
2. Holt caught his 600th pass, topping Henry Ellard's record. This put him in second place among all Rams' recievers, behind Bruce, and placing him in second place for the most receptions in a players' first seven seasons.
3. Faulk made reception #751, passing Hall of Famer Charlie Joiner and Michael Irvin for 17th in receptions NFL history.
4. Faulk became the NFL's career leader in receiving yards by a running back, surpassing Larry Centers, who formerly held the mark. In 12 seasons, Faulk has 6,801 yards on 753 receptions.
5. Holt surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the sixth consecutive season.
This is only three of our players. Three BIG names, and all 3 have been around a while. I'm sure there was some other records broken this year by our players. Anyone else know of any?
