We are almost doomed unless we get a DC and some great D players. Alot of good teams on there.

Look at those teams. The Raiders will be greatly improved next season with a new HC. And the teams otehr than the Raiders in bold made or almost made the playoffs.

Come on tanus, it's likely given their appearances in the playoffs that a lot of these teams will prove a problem for a first time coach with an iffy D.

That schedule looks pretty stiff to me.

you guys are assuming quite a bit here.

look at the eagles this year.
    look at us this year.

how many of these teams are gonna be losing players, coaches, coordinators?

how many of these teams will have injury problems?

how many of these teams will have bad drafts?

how many of these teams will bring in the wrong FAs?

so much changes from year to year. its impossible to know which teams are going to be good.

Yeah, all of that is true, but going on past form, and barring any major collapses, that schedule looks like challenge.

Still, can't wait for the season to start.

true, its still impossible to know which teams are going to be good is my point. they could all be good, or all could be bad.

'Skins, Carolina, Chargers And Vikes Could Be Trouble, But Winnable Ballgames.

11-5...............not sure about that, but will be delighted if it happens.

I think we'll emerge with a winning record, but just how winning I'm not sure. I think we're an 8-8 team right now, but if Linehan gets things right in the off season I think he could get us to 10-6 but most probably 9-7.

2007 could be our breakout year, if we get somehting to build on this year I'll be happy with him.

What is disgusting in this tread is the title. It is "St.", not "Saint". To much New Orleans in that title, and I really really really don't like the Saints. Yuk!!! Hard to even read.

Re: 2006 Saint Louis Rams Schedule

As others said, with teams going from awful to good overnight now in today's NFL the preseason measure of schedule strength is not as important as it used to be. But, wow, nine games against winning teams? Curse the divisional scheduling format! Seattle plays 7 (the joy of being the only good team in the NFC Worst), Arizona 8, even the whiners play 7, which is somewhat rare for them.
