Re: my thoughts on the schedule

One point to add to GCs thoughts. We get the Niners at home Week 2 after they come off a short week with a Monday Night Game Week 1. Hopefully that short week helps us.

Yeah, I don't know why they said "the Rams dropped a pair of games to Arizona last season" when they split.

They may have meant the Rams dropped two straight @home to Arizona the last two seasons. That's not any better. :x

San Fran doesn't have 4 Monday night games, they only have 2. They do however have a Saturday Night game and a Sunday Night game.

No Mnf??

what exactly did the cards and whiners do to get Monday night football games that we didint do?? I don't see how we have no MNF game this year. atleast we have a game on NFL Network!! I guess this is good, because I hate to wait that extra day for our rams to play.. when we win the superbowl this year you will see us loaded with MNF games next year..

Re: 2007 Schedule...no Monday night!!

I'm glad that we are home on the sunday before we play Pittsburgh also at home on the next Thursday. At least we aren't travelling during a short week of practice, which is better than coming back on a trip from the west coast.I also like that 4 of the last 6 are at home, hopefully we can build some momentum for a final push to win the division..

Re: 2007 Schedule...no Monday night!!

I think the Bucs will be better than last year, and the Panthers won't be easy. The whiners spent some money in FA, the Clan's theory will be tested on FA spending early. The Cowboys will be tough again this year, so will the Saints. I have the Ravens as an early Super Bowl favorite then there is the Seahawks. Nothing is easy in the NFL.

BTW, anyone up for Dallas?

Re: 2007 Schedule...no Monday night!!

This schedule is deceivingly harder than it looks. I'm particularly worried about the second half after the break. The Saint's and the Bengals should be two of the better teams in the league next year. Plus the Sea-chickens are always tough. (assuming they are healthy.) And the whiners could be dangerous if they get their confidence up early in the season. Still If we stay healthy it looks like 10-6 is very realistic.

Re: 2007 Schedule...no Monday night!!

If memory serves (and it usually doesn't), wasn't the last season we went Monday Night-less... 1999? The schedule is tough but I love the fact that we're flying under the radar yet again.

I see no Mon. game as a blessing, short work weeks suck especially for the loosers. Every sched's tough in the NFL, IMO.
