I think the Rams will go 5-3 or 6-2 in the first 8 games. I think we will go 11-5 this year and the NFL will be sorry they scheduled so many primetime games for the whiners and Cards because they will still be looking up at us in the standings. Are either of those teams really that improved? Why because the whiners shelled out major jack and overpayed two good players not great players just good ones. Have the cards fixed their o-line problems? How by letting Dallas sign Davis? Come on our defense was horrible last year and we were still better than both those teams. I just dont get it, black balling us from Monday night and Sunday night in favor of two teams with high hopes, I dont see it. We are a couple of players away on defense from being a major contender. You can't argue that because our offense is stacked. I just feel like everyone is dying to see the Whiners get good again, you know the darlings of the NFL. As bad as our defense was last year it was still ranked higher than Frisco and AZ in total yds per game. I mean did they both do that much in the off-season so far to leap frog the Rams, I dont think they did.

In my opinion, I don't think the ***** or the cardianls deserve a MNF game and the whiners have 2.. what is up with that?? anyway I think it will help not having a MNF game, just look at 1999, we had no MNF game and we won the superbowl. this year No MNF game.. Result.... IMHO I think we will win the superbowl. IMO.

Awesome! I was hoping the Niners would go to St. Louis in week 2 provided it wasn't for their home opener. The Rams fans will be stoked for the home opener in week 1, but after that [Hasselbeck] the fans in St. Louis will be too busy watching baseball to attend the game in week 2. [/Hasselbeck]

Let me ask you this - what did the Rams do in 2005 to warrant a MNF game in 2006?

One thing for ya'll to consider is that the first MNF is the "late" game. Nobody on the East Coast who isn't a fan of either team will be watching this game. As well, MNF has lost much of its luster. Between being moved to cable and the craptacular announcing, it's safe to say MNF ain't what it used to be.

The real "showcase" game is now SNF. The announcing crew is better and it's available for everyone to see, not just those who have cable. The "prestige" of a SNF becomes greater later in the season, with the best matchups being hand-picked the week before. Any team feeling slighted about not having any prime time games can earn themselves one later in the year.

Im kinda peeved as MNF is always on five here in the UK, no MNF games means no Rams on five for me

it just means come September ill have to re-subscribe to Sky Sports

I agree that when the EJD was full with Bears fans, this may have hurt our chances to appear on MNF and other primetimes.
