2008 schedule

Finally the old ramgram is back from the limbo of a long wet winter made longer by all the ordinary aches, pains & bugs that afflict us ancients! But enough about me; this is about all of you. I need you to keep watch for the release of the 2008 schedule. The Drury won't take a reservation for the 10 rooms we want until we give them a specific date. This must be repeated each year & as you know those rooms fill up fast. I have searched every site I could & the only thing released so far are the matchups. No dates, times & etc. Whenever any of you gets the schedule please send it to me!

I believe it was supposed to be April 3rd, but they delayed it for a couple of weeks from what I remember reading. So it should be soon, but who knows with the NFL.

Sorry, didn't intend to attempt to derail the thread but my head was on the court yesterday. Today, it's strictly football. That being said, it's good to see you say hello to us little people there Gram. I'm coming to the Bash this year gram, I want a hug.

Schedule usually comes out around mid April.

It is suppose to be before the NFL Draft.
Pro Football Talk said that the NFL Network said (so take it for what it's worth) that the schedules would be released April 17th, and that it schuduled on the NFL Network website for 4:40 EST.
However, the NFLN site does NOT have that date down for releasing the schudles, so maybe they took it down?
That's all I could find on it.

Thanks for all the heartwarming & reassuring posts! No longer feel like the village idiot as it looks like the NFL just likes to keep us guessing. Meantime, keep you ears peeled & your eyes to the ground! And Tex, will have a big wet kiss for you to go with that hug! Also, Bob, Carl & I will again be hosting a Fri. night get together at our house, all Clanners welcome. If the celebrating gets too much for some we have plenty of places to crash for the night. The Starkey Bed & Breakfast also has a "limo" for our wheelless guests! Ta

NFL will release 2008 schedule Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET

The NFL plans to announce its full 2008 schedule Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET.

SportsCenter Special, 2 p.m. ET

When the NFL unveils all 32 team-by-team schedules on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET, watch all the expert analysis and discussion in a two-hour SportsCenter Special on ESPN.

The planned announcement, confirmed by the league in a news release Monday, will reveal dates, times and television schedules. Teams have known their opponents for months, thanks to the NFL's scheduling formula.

The league previously announced four nationally televised matchups for Week 1.

The Washington Redskins open the 2008 season when they visit the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on Thursday, Sept. 4 (NBC, 7 p.m. ET). The Chicago Bears visit the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 7 (NBC, 8:15 p.m. ET) in a rematch of Super Bowl XLI.

ESPN's coverage begins with a "Monday Night Football" doubleheader Sept. 8. The Minnesota Vikings visit the Green Bay Packers in the first game at 7 p.m. ET. The Oakland Raiders then host the Denver Broncos in the second game at 10:15 p.m. ET.
