This is my dilemma as well Josh. Airlines that hold you hostage with non-refundable fares. It's going to be hard for me to lock in with the season still in lock out. I hope something happens soon, because it sounds like there is going to be a good turnout this year, with a lot of new faces.

Speaking of turnout, where are the Brits? Any of you guys from across the pond planning to attend?

I was planning to attend this year (I've trying to save money all year) but because of the lockout I'm not going to commit to it and buy the non refundable airline tickets and as we get nearer the date the ticket prices just increase. Also I'm starting a new job soon which would make it even more difficult to get the time off.

I know I said this last year but it looks like I'll have to wait until next year to attend my first bash. You've no idea how much I want to go to one of these (and hopefully make it an annual trip). I know it will be worth the wait in the end.

I am going to the Dallas game with my wife (she can only get that week off every year, half tern at school) then going on to the saints at home (with her going home), saves me a flight out, a hotel at the airport, car parking fees, used to do 2 trips, but this saves $1000 easy. So will be over, just not then. It also means there is a bit longer distance for booking flights, with the schedule not 100% set, that is becoming a worry as prices will climb.
