    2012 Ram offense

We have exactly the same offense we had 4 years ago in 2009:

2009: Bulger, Jackson, Amendola, Gibson, Avery

    equals:

2012: Bradford, Jackson, Amendola, Gibson, Givens.

...just a better defense and coach.

    Re: 2012 Ram offense

    Marc Bulger 2009 stats 57% 70 rating 5.9 Y/A 5TD 6INT

    Sam Bradford 2012 stats 60% 83 rating 6.8 Y/A 18TD 11INT

yep exactly the same, well besides the fact Bradford is markedly better in literally every category

Btw in 2009 Steven Jackson was one of the best 5 running backs in the league. At this point he's not even one of the best 15.

Jacksons time is done. We NEED to draft a top flight running back next year. We cant keep relying on Jackson. His time is pretty much done except in a limited roll.

Another running back? D Rich isn't looking bad, although I don't know how well he is as a pass protector. We still don't know what we got in Pead either.

As for the thread, things better than 2009:

    -Our Qb
    -Our Defense
    -Our Coaches
    -And certainly our record

While I do not agree with the characterization/comparison to 2009, the essential point is accurate: Our offense is not very good. Major upgrades and improvement need to continue to be made if we are to turn the corner as a football team.

    Bradford>Bulger, 2012 SJ<2009 SJ, 2012 Amendola>2009 Amendola, 2012 Gibson>2009 Gibson, Givens>Avery. Yeah the exact same offense.

The 2009 lot average 279 yards and 10.9 points a game.

The 2012 lot average 332 yards and 18.4 points a game.

The 2012 lot are improved at nearly every position with many of the keys players having 3 years or less experience. The positional coaches, coordinator and head coach have all, arguably, improved.

Aside from these minor points, yes the two offenses are exactly the same.

    Sigh.

The only thing that clearly has not changed since 2009 is the existence of certain "fans" who are incapable of seeing anything positive.
