I nailed that pick in one of the contests. He's the best kicker in the draft. I think he kicked 23 straight FGs and kicked 57 yarders in private workouts. Awesome pick.

" Zuerlein made 21 consecutive field goals, including nine straight from 50-plus yards. "

I love it, I've said for a while, take a kicker, and release the overpaid Josh Brown.

Rams already let Donnie Jones go. Josh Brown surely noticing sixth-round pick for kicker.

Rams take Greg Zuerlein, place-kicker, Missouri Western. We mentioned this guy a week or so ago. Rams had private workout for him in St. Joe

Per Kiper, the #1 rated kicker in the draft. Codeman is correct, he was 23-24 last year, long of 57 or 58. Kiper thought very highly of him. I have no problem at all with that pick at this point in the draft. Wonder if he beats out josh brown or we carry two guys (one for kickoffs etc). I hope we take drew butler, punter georgia, before the day is done. Keep in mind that Josh Brown is not cheap cap wise and he certainly dropped off production wise last year. I think he only has one year left on his contract in any event.
Sure, before people start screaming, we need a linebacker. Obviously, fisher didnt see a guy he liked and remember, we arent going to fill all holes in one draft.

I like the fact that of all our picks up till now there's only one who didn't have a private work out. Chris Givens had his cancelled. Seems we had a good take on the range and players that would fit the schemes.

The goal post dimensions are still the same in division 2. I'll take him, great pick.

Good value. By the sixth round, virtually any player who is likely to make the team can be considered a good pick. If you can get the best player in the draft at his position, even better.

I can't believe Jacksonville didn't draft this guy to compliment their punter.

that 57 yarder at the start of the vid looks like it would have been good from 65!
