Re: 2012 Rams Third Round Pick (#65): Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana
This is frickin awesome. Now Murphy or Johnson can be converted into an FS for when Quintin Mikell is too old (hes 31).

Re: 2012 Rams Third Round Pick (#65): Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana
Don't forget, the Rams added an OL (Wells) who started on a 15-1 Packers team, and a LB (Dunbar) who started 14 games on a 13-3 Saints team. Yes, we need another OG and some more help at the LB spot, but you can't fill every need with a premium pick. You take the best players on your board and fill in as best as you can in the later rounds, with undrafted FAs, and in the second FA phase (post June 1).

" Coach Jeff Fisher says Johnson will stay at corner. Wanted to fortify that position. With Jenkins and Johnson, he believes they have. "

I love it. Maybe move Murphy to FS, or we might see Bradley Fletchers release.

Should we go after another WR in the Draft?

I'd keep an eye on Chris Givens in Rd. 4.

What's all this talk about switching positions?
Finnegan, Fletcher, Murphy, Jenkins, Johnson......that's 5 corners. We went through that many CBs every month last year! How about we not start swapping positions just yet."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: 2012 Rams Third Round Pick (#65): Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana
I disagree that Fletch should be a 3 or 4 corner. People forget quickly about his 2010 season with the 4 picks and 80 plus tackles. PFW ranked him as one of the ebst tackling corners in the league. Guy is an ideal 2 corner in my opinion.
Glad that we dont NEED him to be that now and in case his comeback goes awry we have plenty of other options. CB comp in training camp gonna be HEATED

I think Johnsons going to be starting opposite Finnegan when the season starts.
