Sam in the first half was woeful. Yes, he can throw a ball when the defense is playing soft, but he cant do it when we need him to at the start of the game.

Furthermore, on the last 2 drives he continuously looked at the bench for direction and failed to convert on 4th down twice. If he is our "franchise" qb, he has to show it.

We cant blame the o-line and wide receivers all the time. Some of it is on Sam.

He needs to read the defense better, step up in the pocket, and get rid of the ball quicker.
He also has a knack for overthrowing WR, especially when it matters. He's Tony Banks with less fumbles.

Stop blaming the officials man!!! That's a pathetic excuse for a fan and an easy cop out. There was some questionable calls or non calls in the game but the rams simply came out and laid an egg.

Sam got hit a ridiculous amount of times in the first half. He didn't really have much of a chance most of the time.

    Disagree.

Vikes made it look closer than it was.

Rams had to convert on 4th. Then score a TD. Then recover an on side kick. THen drive down the field again to score another TD.

All in 1.30 with THE worst offensive play calling.

One can hope, but only when one knows the team has the ability to do that kind of escape.

Perhaps the lurkers can't take it anymore!

Don't blame them. The frustration can overload the senses!!

Still, on to next week. At least the record is better than the last few years.

Sam had a bad 1st half with no help from the rest of his team, Then he has a really good 2nd half and it doesn't matter because we're losing? get out of here with that noise.

so? that's their fault, the rams do it to with their soft D coverage besides the line

    still could have done it

Blaming the officials is a copout. A nasty habit fellow Rams fans have had for many years. Enough ! This franchise, especially Bradford, should be held accountable for the past several years.

Where did I blame the officials for a loss? I only pointed out a fact. There was BLATANT HOLDING on both of those plays. It's a fact. And both of those penalties were RIGHT where the ball was. ABSOLUTELY NO reason for the officials to miss those.. Especially with their ability to see the one by Turner earlier.

No blame here, just stating facts. Those plays did NOT happen in a game officiated by the NFL rule book.

Also, if you read my posts, you will see that I am blaming Bradford for this loss. He also has a pretty good assist by the OC and OL.

Bradford could not do anything when it really mattered. Over thowing or missing wide open recievers, 4 stright incompletions when we needed it most. A franchise QB does not play that bad. Sure he had a career high in yardage, but only when the game was out of reach. Bradford is woefully inconsistant, and non existant when it really matters. This team has one of the worst offenses in pro football when it comes to scoring points, and Bradford is near the bottom in QB rating of all NFL QBs. This is NOT a franchise QB, and I believe we are going to need to look for a QB at the next draft if Bradford does not step up and start showing us he is capable of putting points on the board!

I'd hate to see what you guys would do if we actually had a bad QB.

    So?!?

It was an explanation as to why it was easy for us to get close to winning. As soon as he Vikes reverted back to their 1st half defending schemes. We (the Rams) were stopped pretty much straight away.

No way with 1.30 and no times outs we convert that 4th down. Then score a TD. Then recover an onside kick. Then drive down field and score a TD. The vikings wouldn't allow it, as was proven when they reverted back to their original defense.

Besides, if we can't catch that ball on our last failed 4th down attempt, what chance did we have?!?!?
