They liked the guy and felt a couple teams picking before 44 were in need of a guy like him. We have a 6th and two 7ths we can trade still to move up to recoup a 5th if needed.

There is NEVER any way to know whether you could get a particular player at a particular spot. The only way to know is to be aggressive and move up to get what you really one if there is a particular guy that you are zeroed in on. Tennessee needed secondary. Philly moved up to get ahead of us to 43 and they needed safety also. The key is that we got the guy fisher and snead wanted and didnt get killed pick wise doing it.

Carlos Hyde is a great pick for the ***** considering Gore's age and Lattimore's health issues.

Allen Robinson just left. Saw a few projected him in our third.

Also noticing a lot of QBs still on the board.

You have to give Jacksonville credit here. They identified their franchise QB and didn't try to get cute, just took him @ 3. Then on Day 2, they've given him two first round talents to throw to.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

Guys I think the Rams may pursue in round 3:

    Keith McGill
    Pierre Desir
    Zach Mettenburger
    Terrence Brooks
    Aaron Murray
    Louis Nix
    Morgan Moses
    Marcus Martin
    Donte Moncrief
    Trai Turner
    Martavis Bryant

The guys I most want: Keith McGill, Pierre Desir, Trai Turner. Potentially even a WR. We'll see.

Good list. I'd add Chris Borland, Ed Reynolds, Gabe Jackson and Billy Turner.

You heard it hear first folks, we are gong to get either McGil Desir, or Turner from GM Sosa!

Either he is the real GM or has chicken feet, dolls filled with grass, or other Angel Heart items to sway the upper brass!!!
