    With the 2nd pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Saint Louis Rams select Justin Blackkmon

    This is a no brainer. Rams have their playmaker! 3 TDs in the bowl
    already. GSOT is Baaaaack! Count on it JUSTIN BLACKMON!!!

    My assessment of Blackmon:

    While his size (6'1) will be frowned on by some scouts, he more than makes up for it with his intangibles and willingness to get physcial when needed. He's no Hines Ward or Julio Jones, but he also isn't Ted Ginn and doesn't cower from going over the middle and getting hit.

    Speed wise, he's more seperation quick (think Fitzgerald) than game breaker fast.

    His hands are as reliable as you can find.

    Route running skills are his biggest strength. He's extremely fluid in both short and intermediary routes.

    Best comparison I can think of when seeing him is Jimmy Smith with more big play ability. I think he's got more potential than Crabtree did coming out of Texas Tech, and is on par with Dez Bryant but doesn't carry the baggage Dez did.

    With Bradford's precision and Blackmon's route running and seperation skills, this could be a long marriage, one Ram fans all can salivate over.

    Yes, i am all for this. I have been high on Blackmon since last year. I firmly believe that he will be a special player. We need to do something to help Bradford out. I know going line here is also popular, but its about time we just get the offensive playmaker.

    We have slot receivers can then be useful if those two things occur.

    His height doesn't bother me if his catch radius is as good as claimed to be.
