I think it would be great, but odds are we don't beat both the Pats and the Cards. I really hope we do, but it would be tough, so I think 3-5 is a bit more realistic with the toughness of the Rams schedule.

There is no choice saying 4-4 for sure, but nonetheless, I think 3-5 is likely.

BTW, this is an open poll. You can click on the number of votes for each choice and see who voted!

I voted that I honestly don't know. At this point, I can see 4-4 or 2-6, and I don't know which is more likely.

    3-5

We don't beat the Pats. 2-5

But for former Saint Haslett the 2008 Cards will be like his GSOT Rams.........his team shouldn't beat them, but they will. 3-5

Can you imagine what this poll would have looked like two weeks ago?

I definitely think they can do it. It's going to be pretty tough though to get through a Cardinals team that just throws the ball.

I voted "don't know what to think." As one poster already said: "I like our chances." As crazy as things have been, I'm going to lapse into coachspeak and just concentrate on one game at a time ..

Ah what the heck. Give me a pint of that Koolaid! 4-4 it is, realistic or not, let's keep the good vibe going as long as we can.

I like our chances against the Patriots, but having Steven Jackson is critical.

I like our chances less against the Cardinals, I think ol' Kurt will put up a lot of points on us, we'll have to be explosive on offense and force a turnover or two. Pass-rush is the top priority to win that one.

Re: 4-4 at the Half-way Point?

I think 4-4 is a very good possibility the way we're progressing as a team. It's seems strange to say, but I think the Cardinals will be a tougher test than the Patsies. If we do get to 4-4, we'll be in first place in the division.

Kool-Aid. It's both a popular drink, and in this context, it refers to a sort of over excitement or belief in something that's realistically unlikely.

So if I were to say "RAMS GO UNDEFEATED", you'd tell me to lay off the Kool-Aid.

I believe the actual term was coined in reference to an entirely different event, shortly after the Jonestown Massacre. I believe those of the cult committed suicide by drinking Kool-Aid laced with cyanide or a similar poisonous chemical. But I'm not entirely sure on that one.

That's my (probably incorrect) history lesson for today.

Lets not be afraid to put our boys on a positive stretch. Look at who we just beat the last two weeks. The Pats are more banged up than they were. Then we'll get the Cards at home and i know stlouis will be ready to roll. 4-4 at the half.
