Four players who didnít practice Wednesday, returned to practice Thursday at Rams Park: RB Steven Jackson (foot), C Scott Wells (knee), S Craig Dahl (head), and TE Mike McNeill (thigh).
It was nothing new for Jackson, who practiced on a limited basis. He also sat out the previous three Wednesdays, only to return on Thursday as he tries to manage a nagging foot injury that had him hobbling in the locker room after the Buffalo game.
Wells has missed Wednesday and Thursday practices the previous to weeks since returning to the active list following foot surgery in September. Wells was full participation Thursday. As for McNeill, he was limited Thursday in his first practice after missing the Buffalo game with a thigh injury.
The best news concerned Dahl, who didnít finish the Buffalo game after suffering a suspected concussion. But Dahl was full participation Thursday, and barring any symptoms the rest of the week will be good to go this Sunday against Minnesota.
Two anchors of the defense, cornerback Cortland Finnegan (ankle) and linebacker James Laurinaitis (back) missed practice for the second day in a row Thursday. Both players have been very durable over their NFL careers: Finnegan has missed only three games in seven seasons and Laurinaitis has not missed a game in four seasons.
For Minnesota, RB Adrian Peterson (abdomen) missed practice Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. CB Antoine Winfield (knee) missed practice for he second consecutive day. CB A.J. Jefferson (concussion) practiced on a limited basis Thursday after sitting out Monday.

Reading between the lines, I'm thinking that Laurinaitis and Finnegan have essentially been given the week off, and will be fine on Sunday.
