If that was our team in that situation I would have been screaming for us to attempt the FG rather than going for the 4th and 1.

    Puzzling to say the least.....
I agree 110%. That was idiotic on the part of Washington. The Rams were moving the ball at times but they couldn't sustain drives. I was THRILLED when they went for it on 4th down each time because in my opinion, it kept the Rams in the game. In the NFL, as long as you are within 3 points, you are easily within striking distance.

And I don't mind the long drives on the part of the Redskins. I can understand frustration but the most important thing is that the defense bent, it didn't break. Great defenses refuse to give up touchdowns. I think this was a MASSIVE upgrade in the performance of the defense and see real reason to have hope.

I agree we can build on it, although I thought it was a poor call as well. I think play-action would've likely been a cinch TD.

I'm sure I would've been beside myself had it been us running that play in that situation, given Steven Jackson's penchant for dancing in the hole rather than using his size and power and ramming straight ahead.

Guys, whats done is done. Like blood85 said, the packers are coming in. Lets concentrate on that, unless anyone here knows how to rewind time or has a time machine.
